Paheadra Bratton Robinson is an attorney in Jackson MS and is currently serving at the executive director for The Center for Asset Development (formerly the Coalition for a Prosperous Mississippi). She earned a B.A. from Tugaloo College and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law. She has formerly worked as the Director of Consumer Protection for the Mississippi Center for Justice where she led statewide reform efforts for predatory lending and mortgage foreclosure. She has also served as a staff attorney for the Mississippi House of Representatives, was the co-founder of a nonprofit serving families in crisis, and managed a robust private practice.
She is the 2011 recipient of the Florence Kelly Consumer Leadership Award and has membership in the Mississippi Bar Association, Parents for Public Schools and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She currently serves on the advisory board of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Alliance of Economic Inclusion-Mississippi, and The Women’s Foundation of Mississippi.
